This is a very short video clip of the termite infestation in the house.
It was taken on 26 August 2016 after I had removed some door linings in the sitting room.
The problem was, I had already ripped out the vast majority of that wood 2 months before, but they had rebuilt their paths to the beams on the first floor.
If you raise the volume, at the beginning you can hear a sort of clicking noise which I guess is some type of alert.

What will you be doing against the termites? Gassing out?
Hans: These termites are going to cause havoc unless I eradicate them. My plan is to remove everything tasty to them; the beams, the floors, and all the old woodwork. Then I’m going to use a special product that is injected into all the ground floor walls at floor level. It creates a damp proof course which is sorely needed (the walls are quite wet in several rooms). It also acts as a barrier to prevent the termites climbing back up the wall. Then, once the woodwork’s out, I’ll call in the prevention specialists to treat the rest of the house. They will also install a special protective ‘belt’ around the house where they bait special traps with poison. All the new floors will be in lightweight concrete and the decorative finishes in the sitting room, kitchen and dining room will be mostly in plaster moulding so there should be nothing for them to eat.
